Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks an RN Vascular Access to provide expert nursing care and perform ultrasound-guided IV placement, Midline, and PICC insertions for patients from birth to end of life. The role supports the Baptist Health System and interacts with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.

Active RN licensure is required with BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required. Two years of nursing experience and vascular ultrasound experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required with BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.
• BSN preferred; vascular access experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; prior vascular ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert ultrasound-guided IV, Midline, and PICC lines for patients from birth to life span.
• Provide nursing care and serve as expert clinician and role model.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments; liaison for PICC/Midline placement.
• Adhere to infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
