Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Venous Access Team. The role involves placing PICCs, midlines, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs across inpatient units, with responsibilities including daily central line assessments and dressing changes.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program completion and an active RN license in the practicing state, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to determine the most appropriate vascular access device type for individual patient-specific needs.
