Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Vascular Access RN to provide care at Auburn Medical Center and Covington Medical Center. The role is a 0.9 FTE, Day shift with 12-hour rotations including weekends and holidays.

The RN will join a hospital-based team, using specialized training in vascular access and nursing care within a multidisciplinary setting. This is an opportunity to contribute to a best-in-class nursing organization and to grow through ongoing education and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• Advanced degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in WA or MSL.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications as required by facility.
• Specialty area certification preferred.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care for diverse patients.

Skills

BLS Certification

ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP

Certification in specialty area

One year of acute care experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Advanced nursing degree (MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP)

Registered Nurse license Washington state or multi-state endorsement
