Job summary

VTP is seeking experienced RNs for Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles. You will perform USGIV placements, manage PICCs and CVADs, and educate hospital staff. Training for PICC certification is provided for eligible candidates with recent USGIV experience.

Full-time and Per Diem opportunities exist, with 12PM–12AM shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. A competitive benefits package and company vehicle or mileage reimbursement are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
• Must possess a smart phone.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
