Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manager Vascular Access in Jacksonville, FL. The role leads RNs and nursing staff, plans and coordinates vascular access procedures, and ensures safe care delivery with ultrasound guidance where needed.

The position emphasizes leadership, vascular access expertise, and coordination across shifts and teams in a hospital setting. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs supervisor or manager experience overseeing 15–20 team members, including RNs and supervisors.
• 2 yrs acute vascular or ICU experience; performs care 30% of the time.
• Vascular access certification preferred (CRNI/VABC).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and provide care for patients during PICC, midline, peripheral IV, and other venous access procedures.
• Perform vascular access with ultrasound guidance as needed.
• Lead and train a Critical Care nurse leader in vascular access.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Coordinate planning and care throughout the procedures and post-procedure care.
• Mentor staff to ensure quality and safety in vascular access procedures.
