Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is seeking experienced PICC RNs and USGIV-competent RNs to join our vascular access team. Full-time commitment is preferred; new to PICC?

training is available to become certified, with a focus on flexible placement inside or outside hospital settings per referral. As a VTP Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will place PICCs, midlines and IVs using ultrasound, manage devices, and educate staff across facilities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Experience in vascular access device management and troubleshooting.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs.
• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and ECG confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, declotting, etc.
• Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs and CVADs.
