Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions seeks a Vascular Access Manager for Acute Care in Jacksonville, FL. The role oversees RNs and nursing supervisors, guiding vascular access procedures (PICC, midline, peripheral IV) and staff training with ultrasound guidance where needed.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in management and vascular/ICU experience, preferably with CRNI or VABC certification. Monday–Friday schedule, relocation and sign-on considered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing RNs, supervisors and CNCs
• 2 yrs acute vascular or ICU experience
• Leading vascular access services for PICC and venous access devices

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and provide care for patients while performing and monitoring vascular access procedures (PICC, midline, peripheral IV)
• Supervise nursing staff and de-escalate under pressure
• Establish rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate schedules and ensure adherence to Monday–Friday work week

Vascular Access Manager - Acute Care - Full Time Jacksonville, FL

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Would prefer Leader to reside in Jacksonville FL or or nearby.
• Prefer 2 yrs manager or supervisor level experience managing teams of 10+.
• Will be managing RNs, supervisors and CNCs
• Will be performing cases 30% of the time.
• Should have 2 yrs acute vascular or ICU experience
• Prefer Vascular access CRNI or VABC cert
• Will train strong ICU nurse with supervisory experience to learn Vascular Access.
• Position schedule is Monday through Friday
• Manager will be performing the following: planning, coordination, and provision of care for the patient while performing and monitoring the clinical insertion of a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC), Midline Catheters, Peripheral IV Catheters, and other venous access devices inserted with and without the use of ultrasound guidance.
• Vascular access skills will be trained to a strong Critical care nurse and leader.
• Establish excellent rapport and working relationships with all customers, both internally and externally
• Ability to de-escalate and stay calm and collected under pressure.
• Salary determined based on experience. Relocation and sign on s also available with approval.
