Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions in Nashville, TN is seeking a Vascular Access Director for Acute Care to lead a nursing leadership team and oversee vascular access procedures with a focus on quality patient care. The role involves directing teams performing PICC, midline, and peripheral IV insertions, often under ultrasound guidance, to deliver timely care.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of management experience leading 15+ staff, plus 2 years in acute vascular or ICU settings.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs manager or director level experience managing teams of 15+.
• Will be managing leadership team that supervises RNs, supervisors and CNCs
• Should have 2 yrs acute vascular or ICU experience to lead by example
• Prefer Vascular access CRNI or VABC cert
• Position schedule is Monday through Friday
• Salary determined based on experience. Relocation and sign on s also available with approval.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and provide care for patients during insertion and monitoring of PICC, Midline, Peripheral IV and other venous access devices, including ultrasound guidance.
• Establish excellent rapport and working relationships with customers both internally and externally.
• Ability to de-escalate and stay calm under pressure.

• Team will be performing the following: planning, coordination, and provision of care for the patient while performing and monitoring the clinical insertion of a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC), Midline Catheters, Peripheral IV Catheters, and other venous access devices inserted with and without the use of ultrasound guidance.
• Vascular access skills will be trained to a strong Critical care nurse and leader.
• Establish excellent rapport and working relationships with all customers, both internally and externally
• Ability to de-escalate and stay calm and collected under pressure.
• Salary determined based on experience. Relocation and sign on s also available with approval.
