Job summary

Crossroads Christian School is seeking a responsible coach to assist in leading the school’s athletic program. The role emphasizes coaching excellence, Christian conduct, and collaboration with the Athletic Director and school staff to support student athletes.

The position requires prior high school varsity coaching experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid credentials and concussion protocol training if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one-year high school varsity coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid card and concussion protocol training if required.
• Two letters of recommendation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Christian and coaching excellence in the leadership of the school.
• Develop regular practice schedules for individual and team development.
• Coach and instruct players in the rules, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Ensure players are cleared by the Athletic Department for participation (CIF where applicable).
• Attend coaching training when available.
• Work with staff and booster clubs/donors to support athletic programs.
• Maintain player behavior records and supervise athletes during activities.
• Participate in parent nights, banquets, award nights, and assemblies.
