Job summary

Crossroads Christian School in Corona, CA seeks an assistant coach to support the head coach in all aspects of the sport, coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques, and motivating students to develop a love for the sport. The candidate will help organize practices, monitor athlete development, and ensure compliance with school and CIF guidelines while modeling Christ-like conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in sport.
• Minimum one-year high school varsity coaching experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and coaching application requirements may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Commit to a Christian leadership role and uphold Biblical standards.
• Provide coaching excellence in leading the sport.
• Develop practice schedules and coach players in techniques and strategies.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director on practice facilities and game scheduling.
• Maintain player eligibility and safety procedures per school and CIF rules.
• Attend coaching trainings and athletic meetings as needed.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, and staff.
