Lake Elsinore Unified School District is seeking a Varsity Head Boys Lacrosse Coach (Non-teaching) for Lakeside High School. The role focuses on mentorship, recruitment, and coordination of a comprehensive high school athletic program for the 2026-2027 school year.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of varsity lacrosse coaching experience, familiarity with CIF rules, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is a part-time, seasonal position with stipend remuneration.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years successful (recent) experience at the varsity Lacrosse level (within last five (5) years).
• Experience working directly with collegiate and/or public school districts is highly desirable
• Must have demonstrated ability to lead and direct a sports program, working knowledge of CIF rules/regulations, effective oral and written communication, and strong organizational skills

Responsabilités

• Identify, recruit, and coach student-athletes for the lacrosse program.
• Develop practice plans and competition schedules.
• Manage operating budget for the program.
• Oversee student-athlete academics and compliance of the program.
• Supervise assistant coaches and support personnel.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Site Principal and Athletic Director, this position has the responsibility for the overall administration of all aspects of a comprehensive high school athletic program. The primary focus will be that of mentorship, recruitment, administration and coordination of a high school athletic program where the total development of the student-athlete is the highest priority. Specifically, the Head Coach will identify, recruit, and coach student-athletes; develop practice plans and competition schedules; manage operating budget; oversee student-athlete academics and compliance of the program; and supervise assistant coaches/other support personnel.
