Job summary

John Stark Regional High School seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Varsity Boys Volleyball Head Coach to lead our student-athletes for the 2026-27 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for volleyball, a commitment to student-athlete development, and the ability to foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships with student-athletes, families, and staff.
• Commitment to creating a supportive and spirited athletic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop volleyball student-athletes both on and off the court.
• Plan, organize, and execute practices, game strategies, and team meetings.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.
• Collaborate effectively with assistant coaches, athletic staff, school administration and team boosters.
• Represent the volleyball program positively within the school and broader community.
