Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental skills and techniques, as well as advanced techniques applicable to the sport.
• Demonstrate the ability to teach, enforce, advocate for, and model appropriate behavior, character development, sportsmanship, and educational values for student-athletes.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coaches Code of Conduct and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Coaches Code of Conduct.
• Prior experience in the sport is required; experience working with youth is preferred.
• Water Polo, Swimming & Diving: Current Lifeguarding Certification with Deep Water Training, along with CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Football: NFHS Football Tackling Certification.
• Cheer: NFHS Cheer Safety Certification.
