Job summary

Southeast Dubois County School Corporation's Forest Park Jr/Sr High School is seeking a Varsity Assistant Boys Baseball Coach. The role develops student athletes by teaching fundamentals, strategies and fitness, while modeling character and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Has ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and ongoing study of new theories and procedures.
• Serves as a positive role model for student athletes through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

• Implement athletic policies approved by the Board and staff.
• Interpret league regulations and ensure adherence by staff.
• Coordinate staff duties and supervise assistants.
• Maintain discipline and safety during practices and games.
• Direct student managers and statisticians.
