• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Knowledge of technical aspects of the sport and ongoing learning.
• Serves as a positive role model for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamentals, strategy and physical training for team success.
• Supervise and coordinate coaching staff under athletic director guidance.
• Ensure adherence to policies and provide staff development opportunities.
• Maintain discipline and promote sportsmanship and character development.
• Assist with scheduling, equipment, transportation and game events.
• Mentor students on academics, safety and emergency procedures.
