Job summary

Mississippi Department of Transportation is seeking a first-level vocational position responsible for technical work involving basic equipment operation and maintenance. Responsibilities include repairing traffic signals, installing and maintaining signs, applying herbicide, pesticide, and snow and ice chemicals, striping, traffic control, pothole patching, and responding to disasters.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; in some cases, experience may substitute education.
