Job summary

Nye County School District is seeking Lunch Duty Aides for JG Johnson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are 2.75 hours for lunch supervision, with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour.

Successful candidates will assist staff in supervising students during lunch, either in the building or on the grounds, and must pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and, preferably, experience in school or security settings.

Job Goal

Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Working Conditions

Office or suitable workspace with desk, telephone, computer, and supplies necessary to carry out functions of position description.
