Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking an IT Manager I to lead the Varicent platform across compensation, workforce planning, and related HR technology. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to align the platform with business goals and drive automation and process improvements.

You will manage a mid-size team, deliver on roadmap commitments, and oversee integrations with Workday and data systems while ensuring security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, MIS, business or related field.
• 3+ years leading IT development and support for enterprise applications.
• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting or administering Varicent or similar platforms.
• Experience delivering enterprise technology projects and managing roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of Varicent administration and data integrations, SQL and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, support, enhancement, and strategic roadmap of Varicent platform.
• Manage mid-size teams delivering functional projects on time and budget.
• Drive platform modernization, automation, and integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, and IT to ensure business objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, track performance, and remove impediments.
• Oversee integrations between Varicent and Workday, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
