Job summary

Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE (a program of Volunteers of America National Services) is hiring a Van Driver in Eckert, CO. You will safely transport participants to appointments, outings and meals while following the plan of care.

A valid CO driver's license and at least one year of experience with elderly populations are required. The role offers competitive pay, benefits including health coverage and a retirement plan, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid Colorado driver's license.
• Minimum of one year experience serving frail and elderly individuals.
• Ability to read maps and routing information.
• Knowledge of safety requirements in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Transport SCC participants to medical appointments and activities per care plan.
• Move meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy items as needed.
• Provide safe, satisfactory transport and passenger care during trips.
• Follow schedule, adapt to changes and inform dispatch accordingly.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team as needed.
