Job summary

The Staffing People seeks a transit van driver to transport passengers safely and on schedule. You will operate a van on pre-determined routes, pick up passengers on dispatched requests, and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, reporting issues to supervision, fueling, cleaning, and adhering to safety policies and DOT regulations in all daily operations.

• Report any issues with the vehicle to the supervisor.
• Complete maintenance requests.
• Fuel van at the end of each shift and throughout the day as necessary.
• Clean the inside of the van at the end of each daily operation.
• Behave in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Treat others with respect.
• Maintain all necessary records.
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all DOT guidelines and rules of the road.
• All other duties as assigned.
