Charlie's Produce in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a delivery driver to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers, operating a sprinter van.

You will check invoices, assist with COD payments, and provide superior customer service at each delivery. This is a safety-sensitive, equal-opportunity role with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be 18yrs old or older
• Driving experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, read and understand English
• Satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Deliver palletized product to customers with hand truck
• Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Provide superior customer service at each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Promote a cooperative, team-oriented, customer-focused attitude with co-workers
• Operate a company vehicle with outward and driver-facing dash cam
• Adhere to dash cam usage and data privacy policies
• Maintain the dash cam functionality in your assigned vehicle
• All other duties as requested

Job Description

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers, driving a sprinter van.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
• Promote & maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam.
• Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy.
• Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam.
• All other duties as requested or assigned

All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test.

Qualifications

• At least one year of driving experience, delivery driver experience preferred.
• Provide at least five (5) year Driving Record from the DMV
• Valid Medical Card and endorsements
• Pass pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and reference check
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
