Job summary

Senior Community Care of Maryland PACE is seeking a Van Driver in Lanham, MD to transport residents safely to appointments and activities. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

The position offers competitive pay from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, strong benefits, and opportunities for growth within a compassionate team that values the residents' independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with the elderly.
• If operating company vehicle you must be twenty-one (21) years of age, meet the MVR organization standards, have a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain CDL license within six (6) months of hire.
• Able to read and understand maps and routing information.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for passengers during transport, providing care in a manner which ensures resident satisfaction.
• Follows assigned schedule, makes adjustments to meet unanticipated changes, while considering the needs of the resident and requirements of the facility.
• Operates equipment safely and in compliance with vehicle licensing regulations.
• Maintains and completes daily required records i.e., Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections, gasoline purchases.

Pay Range: $20.00-$26.00
