Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Van Driver to support patient transport and serve as a friendly face for patients, families, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes safety, empathy, and reliability to help deliver high-quality patient care in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Training required.
• Previous transportation experience required.
• Valid drivers license for heaviest class vehicle required.
• Must be at least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operates transportation vehicles in a safe manner and complies with traffic laws.
• Maintains appearance of vehicle and reports maintenance needs.
• Performs daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Lifts and transfers patients as needed with proper safety equipment.
• Performs CPR and/or handles patient emergencies.
