Job summary

The Salvation Army in Florence, AL seeks a Christmas Van Driver to operate a passenger vehicle for transporting participants to activities and events in the Shoals area. Responsibilities include pickups/deliveries of donations and supplies, reading maps, and maintaining passenger safety and vehicle integrity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years’ driving experience or equivalent, and a valid state driver’s license in good standing. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years' experience operating an automotive vehicle or equivalent training.
• Valid State Driver's License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Salvation Army passenger vehicle, transporting passengers to and from activities and kettle or Angel Tree sites.
• Make pickups and deliveries of donated items and other supplies.
• Read maps, gauge arrival times, and ensure passenger safety at all times.
