Job summary

Sage Rehabilitation Hospital Inpatient & Outpatient facilities seeks a Full-time Transportation Team Member (Van Driver) to safely transport patients to medical appointments. The role requires a Louisiana driver's license, CPR certification, and reliable vehicle safety practices.

You will work Monday–Friday with possible weekend coverage, coordinate with clinical staff, and ensure patient safety in transit.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver’s License
• Current unrestricted Chauffeur's License in Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Previous CNA experience preferred
• Excellent safety and patient-care attitude

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments using company van
• Maintain open communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location
• Ensure all passengers use seat belts and follow safety guidelines
• Perform pre-trip vehicle safety checks and coordinate with maintenance
• Prior experience as CNA in a hospital setting preferred

Shift: Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays

• Candidate must possess current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver’s License.
• Current Unrestricted Chauffeur's License in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Provides safe patient transportation to and from the Inpatient, Outpatient, Wound Care facilities as scheduled in company provided van
• Maintains communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location throughout the day.
• Ensures patients and other passengers are safely in the vehicle and are using safety belts prior to driving vehicle to next destination.
• Follows all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.
• Ensures that vehicle received regular maintenance per schedule and completed vehicle safety checks.
• Previous experience as CNA in a hospital setting preferred
