Job summary

Sage Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Full-time Transportation Team Member (Van Driver) to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital admissions, and various medically related visit types. The role requires current Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana chauffeur's license, and CPR certification.

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to patient safety and timely transport while following company guidelines and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana driver's license (unrestricted) required.
• Current unrestricted chauffeur's license in the State of Louisiana.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from inpatient, outpatient, wound care facilities as scheduled.
• Maintain communication with facility staff about schedule and location.
• Ensure passengers are properly restrained and vehicle safety checks are completed.
• Adhere to all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.

Sage Rehabilitation Inpatient & Outpatient facilities is seeking a Full-time TRANSPORTATION TEAM MEMBER (Van Driver) to safely transport patients to and from various medical appointments to include hospital admissions, doctors' appointments and various other medically related visit types.

Shift: Monday - Friday with rotating weekends and holidays

• Candidate must possess current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver’s License.
• Current Unrestricted Chauffeur's License in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Provides safe patient transportation to and from the Inpatient, Outpatient, Wound Care facilities as scheduled in company provided van
• Maintains communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location throughout the day.
• Ensures patients and other passengers are safely in the vehicle and are using safety belts prior to driving vehicle to next destination.
• Follows all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.
• Ensures that vehicle received regular maintenance per schedule and completed vehicle safety checks.
• Previous experience as CNA in a hospital setting preferred
