Essential Duties and Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a current, unrestricted Louisiana Driver’s License.
• Current Unrestricted Chauffeur's License and CDL in the State of Louisiana.
• CNA certified with the state of Louisiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provides safe patient transportation to and from the Inpatient, Outpatient, Wound Care facilities as scheduled in company provided van.
• Maintains communication with facility staff regarding schedule and location throughout the day.
• Ensures patients and other passengers are safely in the vehicle and are using safety belts prior to driving vehicle to next destination.
• Follows all traffic safety laws and vehicle safety guidelines.
• Ensures that the vehicle receives regular maintenance per schedule and completed vehicle safety checks.
• Previous experience as a CNA in a hospital setting preferred.
• Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voicemail when the associate is unavailable. Has excellent phone etiquette.
• Greets and directs visitors to the appropriate location.
