Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking a Valve Technician to perform assembly, repair, and certification of valves in shop and on customer sites. You will work with PRVs, control valves, and related equipment, with in-house and factory training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school degree preferred.
• Ability to learn the trade and use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record.
• Capable of holding forklift operation certificate.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Operate equipment and tools (hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, torch).
• Disassemble valves without damaging parts per manuals.
• Assemble, calibrate, and certify valves per manufacturer manuals.
• May assist in field assignments.
