Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation is seeking a mechanized assembly and repair technician in Missouri. The role involves disassembling, inspecting, assembling, calibrating and certifying valves per manufacturer manuals, with hands-on use of hand and power tools.

The candidate must follow safety procedures, maintain equipment, and may perform field assignments and occasional travel. Forklift operation certification and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; desirable technical or trade school degree.
• Right candidate will learn our trade and has experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Pioneer Safety and Quality procedures and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, propylene torch, etc.
• Disassemble valves without damaging parts per the Installation & Operation Manual.
• Document and enter job data into ValvKeep database and capture photos.
• Coordinate with office personnel on repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain equipment in the area as required.
• Clean, blast, and paint valve components.
• Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valves per manuals.
• May assist in field assignments.
• May climb and work at various elevations per job scope.
• Operate motor vehicle as required.
• Attend job and safety training as necessary.
