Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Valve Technician in North Olmsted, OH to assemble automated packages and support valve automation projects. The role requires safe work practices, data recording, and effective communication with sales, management, and warehouse teams.

You will troubleshoot packages, assist with training, and collaborate with inspectors to meet customer demands. Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with overtime as needed; the position emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics.
• Valve & actuator industrial experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• A self-motivator with a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble all automated packages.
• Follow SOPs for valve automation, maintaining safe, organized workspace and observing safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage and transfer of product.
• Set up, use, and maintain tools and equipment in the automation center.
• Courteous interaction with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel.
• Interact with customers when addressing questions about automated packages.
• Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs.
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program.
• Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data.
• Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands.
