Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Valve Technician to assemble automated packages and support valve automation operations. The role requires reading technical data and schematics, teamwork, and safe, efficient handling of tools in an automation center. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

The position emphasizes customer interaction, assisting with training, and coordinating with inspectors to ensure device quality and timely delivery. A proactive, safety‑minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in valve automation or related industrial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble all automated packages.
• Follow SOPs for valve automation and maintain a safe, organized workspace; observe safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage and transfer.
• Set up, use, and maintain tools and equipment in the automation center.
• Interact courteously with inside/outside sales, management and warehouse staff.
• Interact with customers to address questions and concerns about automated packages.
• Troubleshoot automated packages in-house and in the field; perform necessary repairs.
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training.
• Perform functional automated valve testing, record data and store results.
• Coordinate with inspectors to meet customer demands.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Valve Technician. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service, coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi‑billion‑dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm + OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly of all automated packages
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product
• Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation center
• Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel
• Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages
• Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data
• Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics
• Valve & actuator industrial experience highly preferred
• Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Be goal oriented, self‑motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmosphere
• Possess a positive attitude
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• A self‑motivator and have an ambition to succeed
• Enthusiastic, courteous, and articulate
• Ability to learn quickly

• - Pay Range: - $15.67 - $23.50 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
