Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a Valve Technician to assemble, test and troubleshoot automated valve packages. The role involves working with inside/outside sales, management and warehouse staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automated packages in-house and in the field for repairs
• Help develop automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing and data storage
• Collaborate with inspectors to meet customer demands
• Travel up to 25% as required and may support other Ferguson locations

Hours

8AM - 4:30PM, Overtime Requirements as work demands, Some Weekend Pay: Starts at $25 an hour but could be more based on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly of all automated packages
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product
• Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation center
• Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel
• Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages
• Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data
• Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is required. Travel may include overnight stays for field service projects and support at other Ferguson locations. May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required
• Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid state issued license is required. Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics
• Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Be goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmosphere
• Possess a positive attitude

• - Pay Range: - $17.41 - $26.11 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
