Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in the United States seeks a Valve Technician to assemble automated packages, follow SOPs, and ensure safe, efficient operations in the automation center.

You will troubleshoot, train others, document data, and coordinate with inside/outside sales, management, and warehouse teams; schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics
• Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Be goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmosphere
• Possess a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Assemble all automated packages following standard operating procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace and observe safety precautions
• Set up, use and maintain tools and equipment in the automation center
• Interact courteously with inside/outside sales, management and warehouse staff
• Interact with customers and address questions about automated packages
• Troubleshoot automated packages in-house and in the field
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing and data records
• Collaborate with inspectors to meet customer demands

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly of all automated packages
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product
• Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation center
• Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel
• Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages
• Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data
• Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands

- Pay Range: - $16.53 - $24.81 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
