Job summary

Ferguson in New Castle, PA is seeking a Valve Technician to assemble automated valve packages, test them, and troubleshoot in-house or on-site. You will work with sales, management, and warehouse teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Requirements include 3–5 years of valve or actuator experience, a valid DOT medical card, and the ability to read schematics. Travel up to 25–40% and starting pay of $22/hour are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in valves or actuators preferred.
• Safety release valve and actuator experience highly preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and hold a valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with a team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automated valve packages and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Set up, use and maintain tools and equipment in the automation center.
• Troubleshoot packages in-house and in the field; perform repairs.
• Interact with inside/outside sales, management, and warehouse staff.
• Travel up to 25–40% for field service and support at Ferguson locations.
