Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Valve Technician in New Jersey to assemble, test, and troubleshoot automated valve packages. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining safe work areas, and collaborating with sales, management, and warehouse teams.

The position may involve travel up to 25% and driver duties; salary starts at $23 per hour and may increase with experience. Company benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automated packages following standard procedures and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Set up, use and maintain tools and equipment in the automation center.
• Interact courteously with inside/outside sales, management, and warehouse staff.
• Troubleshoot automated packages in-house and in the field to perform necessary work and repairs.
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program.
• Perform functional automated valve testing and record data.
• Travel up to 25% and may include overnight stays for field service projects.
• May be responsible for driver duties and responsibilities.
