The role requires 3-5+ years of engineering experience, proficiency in CAD tools, and strong analytical skills. Collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and vendors is essential, with opportunities to visit customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate concepts.
• Collaborate with team members to validate designs and adjust as needed.
• Report progress to Engineering Manager or Project Engineer.
• Support product design projects with manufacturing and QA feedback.
• Review final designs with engineering support groups and implement changes.
• Assist in addressing manufacturing problems and improving quality.
• Stay updated on technology and incorporate improvements.
• Visit customer sites to validate design specs and address issues.
• Prepare time reports for projects and attend customer calls.
