Job summary

Associates Systems LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive valve design development and modify existing products. You will contribute to prototype creation and validation of concepts, ensuring alignment with engineering goals.

Responsibilities include collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and vendors, applying analytical tools, and supporting product design projects under the direction of Engineering Managers. This role requires 3–5+ years of experience and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and analytical tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, Mathcad).
• Experience with geometric tolerance techniques (ANSI Y14.5) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended changes.
• Work with manufacturing, QA, production, vendors, and contractors to support product design projects, under Engineering Managers guidance.
