Siemens Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support valve design engineering and order execution at the Painted Post, NY site. You will perform calculations, check drawings, and update designs to meet manufacturing and assembly standards while supporting customer bookings for valve upgrades.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in reciprocating gas compressors or oil and gas, and experience with CAD, GD&T, and SAP/PLM systems.

Competenze

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred; related engineering discipline may be considered.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in reciprocating gas compressors or the oil and gas industry.
• Strong skills in mechanical product design, CAD, and engineering calculations; GD&T; knowledge of oil and gas industry standards.

Mansioni

• Perform engineering calculations and material selection for valve components, ensuring mechanical integrity and optimal performance.
• Check drawings and design documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with standard drafting and engineering practices.
• Update product designs to meet current engineering, manufacturing, and assembly standards, optimizing cost and lead times.
• Support customer order bookings related to valve upgrades and modernization projects, verifying compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical engineering support to manufacturing, supply chain, and customer technical support departments, collaborating closely with the Painted Post facility.
