Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and maintain SAP machining routings for valve components.

You will work hands-on with operators, CNC programmers, quality, scheduling, maintenance, and design engineering to translate requirements into practical manufacturing processes and routings. This role emphasizes process analysis, continuous improvement, and collaboration to improve throughput, quality, and efficiency while delivering training and standardization across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in machining, manufacturing engineering, process planning, routing development, or production support.
Working knowledge of CNC machining processes including turning, milling, drilling, grinding, workholding, tooling selection, and troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, material specs, and inspection requirements and translate them into SAP routings.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, scheduling, CNC programmers, and engineering teams.

Responsabilités

Create, maintain, and continuously improve SAP machining routings, work instructions, labor standards, cycle times, tooling requirements, and production documentation.
Partner with operations, quality, CNC programming, maintenance, scheduling, and design engineering teams to ensure routings are executable, efficient, and aligned with production requirements.
Analyze manufacturing processes through shop-floor observation, cycle-time studies, and production data to identify opportunities for throughput, quality, and efficiency.
Coordinate tooling, fixturing, gauging, and machine capability requirements to ensure successful production execution and process stability.
Support new product introductions, process improvements, and capacity expansion projects by delivering routing updates, manufacturing solutions, and technical support.
Train production personnel on manufacturing processes, routing procedures, and best practices while promoting standardization and continuous improvement.
