Job summary

Trimteck, LLC designs severe and general service control valves to customer specifications and internal design standards. The role focuses on CAD-driven design, material selection, and collaboration with manufacturing to meet deadlines.

You will prepare SolidWorks assemblies, release work orders, review customer specs, and provide technical support to customers, vendors, and production teams. A solid background in mechanical design and materials is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Advanced CAD software experience, SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and simulation/analysis.
• Basics of thermodynamics.
• Understanding of flow principles and fluid statics/dynamics.
• Understanding properties of engineering materials.

Responsibilities

• Design severe and general service control valves to customer specifications and internal design standards.
• Select appropriate materials and hardware.
• Prepare and review detailed SolidWorks assemblies and bills of material.
• Release Work Orders to manufacturing/assembly.
• Review customer design specifications and ensure compliance.
• Maintain design library and project document files.
• Prepare and revise valve drawings.
• Provide technical support to customers, vendors, and production personnel.
• Write test procedures to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Work to internal deadlines for engineering deliverables.
