Job summary

M&H Valve Company, a Birmingham, AL based leader in water and wastewater valve products, is seeking a production line worker for repetitive assembly and testing of valves and hydrants. You will follow precise work orders, operate tools, and move across stations to keep production on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and demonstrate reading, basic math, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and instructions.
• Basic math skills including rates, ratios and percentages.
• Willingness to use PPE and follow safety rules.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and team safety at all times.
• Follow work orders to assemble and test valves and hydrants.
• Operate hand and air tools as required on the line.
• Maintain clean work area and report downtime or malfunctions.
• Meet hourly production rates and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work at multiple stations as production needs require.
