Role Overview

This position oversees activities within a designated value stream, managing daily operations, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize processes and ensure high-quality outputs.

Ultra is expanding our second shift to meet global demand. Join us as we grow in making the world a safer place.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 3:30am

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible for security clearance due to the sensitive nature of our programs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead and direct a team within the value stream.
  2. Manage daily operations, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.
  3. Apply Lean or Agile principles to improve processes.
  4. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  5. Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  6. Promote a culture of ongoing improvement.
  7. Coordinate with quality assurance to meet quality standards.
  8. Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  9. Work with production, logistics, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
  10. Foster effective communication and teamwork.
  11. Identify training needs and support professional development.
  12. Monitor KPIs and generate performance reports.
  13. Ensure health and safety compliance and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in supervisory or leadership roles in manufacturing or operations.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Agile methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles.
