Position Summary
As a valued member of the Advancement Services, Solutions team, the Business Intelligence supervisor will be responsible for utilizing business expertise with business rules and data extensions to support the strategic objectives of University Advancement; building reporting standards with consistency and accuracy including development of reports and dashboards as necessary in various BI technologies like Cognos, Power BI ,Tableau, Salesforce etc. The Advancement Services group supports the Fundraising and Alumni Relations efforts at Michigan State University by analyzing, interpreting and reporting on financial and engagement data in order to help support the development of short- and long-term strategies.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
