Job summary

A.W. Chesterton Company is seeking a Value Stream Product Manager to lead a multi‑functional team responsible for safety, quality, delivery, inventory and production cost performance across a multi‑cell/multi‑shift manufacturing operation.

The role focuses on waste elimination, speed improvements, and meeting customer requirements, with responsibility for supervising production staff and mentoring future supervisors within the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing management role.
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with proven Six Sigma use.

Responsibilities

• Set production center goals aligned with Value Stream Plan-to-Win strategy.
• Lead SQDIP metrics to monitor performance in real time.
• Drive safety and health, and optimize end-to-end manufacturing results.
• Develop high performing teams to achieve production targets.
• Manage production center budgets and costs (COGs and capital).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and Chesterton policies.
