Designs for Health, Inc. is seeking an Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead production and warehouse teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations within the value stream.

You will drive inventory accuracy, coordinate daily activities, and partner with planning, procurement, quality, and distribution to meet customer needs. Responsibilities include training, process optimization, downtime reduction, and data-driven decision making while maintaining cGMP, GDP, FDA, and NSF

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics supervisory role or 2 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics management role.
• 5 years’ experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, FIFO, FEFO, cycle count, and inventory control practices.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and KPI Management.
• Expertise with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software like Sage and NetSuite.
• Extensive knowledge in manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of both manufacturing and warehouse teams to maintain safe and efficient workflow.
• Coordinate all manufacturing and warehouse activities for the assigned Value Stream.
• Oversee training for the assigned Value Stream.
• Evaluate and manage machine and personnel resources to ensure high productivity and minimal downtime.
• Plan and coordinate daily manufacturing and warehouse activities (receiving, picking, shipping, returns, cycle counts, production adherence).
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction; implement solutions.
• Utilize Sage and NetSuite to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers for inbound/outbound logistics.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and warehouse management.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, GDP, and safety requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement within the Value Stream.
• Escalate issues to senior management and manage staff accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
