Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Chicago is hiring an experienced assembler for production lines that build radio communication equipment. You will assemble, test and ship components, while becoming a product SME and driving Kaizen improvements.

Role requires 8+ hours of standing/sitting, ability to read build docs, data entry, and strong safety focus. Overtime, steel-toed shoes, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours, or more if working overtime
• Light Computer skills and ability to read/enter data as required.
• Ability to read build documentation.
• Quality/Safety conscious with ability to stay focused and pay attention to detail.
• Good attendance record and must be able to work 40 hours plus (including weekend work) overtime each week when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Quick learner with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work with light fabrication equipment.
• Must be able to operate torque equipment. Good hand dexterity.
• Must be willing to rotate between various positions in the organization based on business needs.
• Must wear steel toed shoes.
• Oracle systems knowledge preferred.
• Basic Soldering skills.

Job Description

Target Base Salary Range: $37,200 - $65,700

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
