Job Description

Silvus Technologies, acquired by Motorola Solutions in 2025, is part of the ecosystem of safety and security technologies. Silvus develops advanced communications technologies for mission-critical applications in harsh environments, delivering Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) radios powered by a custom Mobile-Networked MIMO waveform. Silvus radios enable secure and reliable connectivity, including video and high-bandwidth data, from underground tunnels to high-altitude balloons. Silvus StreamCaster? radios are adopted by customers globally, including U.S. and allied defense programs, law enforcement agencies, and unmanned systems manufacturers. This is an entry-level role on the production team for the StreamCaster line of MIMO radios, working with operations management and engineering to ensure high quality and timely delivery, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm, located at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West Los Angeles.

The following describes current essential job functions. Management may reassign duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Testing of sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Final assembly and inspection of finished products.
• System testing and quality control testing in production.
• Statistics logging and reporting with daily feedback to the team.
• Perform other related duties as representative of the above.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good manual dexterity and strong hand skills with tools (tweezers, screw/bolt drivers, torque wrenches).
• Competent PC user and computer savvy.
• Collaborative spirit, committed to team success.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Hands-on worker; careful and detail-oriented.
• Note: Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in electronics manufacturing and testing environment.
• Linux experience is a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Indoor air-conditioned facility.
• Occasional exposure to heat and cold.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 lbs and walking/moving in labs.

Compensation

$21.63 - $22.66 hourly. This salary range is NOT guaranteed and depends on experience and qualifications.
