Job summary

Paumac Tubing Llc is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the MEI wrap manufacturing value stream with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role encompasses staffing, training, process ownership, and cross-functional leadership to drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will champion Lean methodologies, manage production planning and execution, and coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize flow and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing operations and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of SQDC targets and ISO/IATF compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to meet SQDC goals and production schedules.
• Supervise staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Drive Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, Poka-Yoke).
• Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering.
• Monitor KPIs: OEE, throughput, scrap, downtime, cost.
• Lead safety and environmental compliance (OSHA, ISO 14001).
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage cross-functional communication and escalation of critical issues.
