Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling seeks a Value Stream Manager II to lead end-to-end product lifecycle and optimize the value stream. You will coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure timely launches and issue resolution.

You will drive Lean and continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the value stream by overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of products within the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment between product strategy, operational execution, customer requirements, and business objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support to launch products, manage changes, resolve issues, and meet customer commitments.
  • Support HydroCharge deployments with comprehensive product information, training materials, and on-site customer training.
  • Monitor KPIs to manage product and business performance, analyze trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions for better customer satisfaction, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Lead strategic and continuous improvement initiatives by prioritizing projects, allocating resources, managing risks, and driving process improvements for growth and operational excellence.
  • Develop and support high-performing teams by coaching, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

What you will do:
  • Lead and optimize the value stream by overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of products within the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment between product strategy, operational execution, customer requirements, and business objectives.

  • Support successful HydroCharge deployments by providing comprehensive product information, developing training materials, and conducting on-site customer training
  • Manage product and business performance by monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, product quality, and profitability.
  • Lead strategic and continuous improvement initiatives by prioritizing projects, allocating resources, managing risks, and driving process improvements that support growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience managing products, projects, operations, or cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Experience leading complex projects and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, and business performance improvements.
Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
  • Operations Leadership: Experience leading manufacturing or operations teams in a demand-driven environment, with knowledge of production systems, automation, inventory management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Development: Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Business Strategy: Experience leading or supporting strategic initiatives, managing organizational change, and aligning resources to business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience driving Lean, DFT, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall business performance. Preferred experience leading process improvement implementations.
