Danfoss Power Solutions in Mountain Home, AR, is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead an assigned manufacturing value stream and deliver world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. This role requires strategic and operational leadership to drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and develop future leaders.

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading leaders or equivalent management roles.

• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience using operational KPIs and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost targets.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and production personnel to drive engagement and talent development.
• Champion a zero-injury culture and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, standard work, visual management, waste elimination).
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, labor planning, resource allocation, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain and HR to support goals and change initiatives.
• Support quality management, audits, and continuous improvement to reduce defects and complaints.

The Impact You'll Make

Are you passionate about leading high-performing manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence? Danfoss is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead an assigned manufacturing value stream and deliver world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) objectives.

The Value Stream Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for production operations while developing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. This position serves as a key member of the site leadership team and is responsible for driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, improving operational performance, and developing future leaders. Success in this role is measured by the ability to achieve business objectives while maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost performance targets.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, team leads, and production personnel while driving employee engagement, accountability, and talent development.
• Champion a zero-injury culture by ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, standardized work, visual management, waste elimination, and problem-solving activities.
• Monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational budgets, labor planning, resource allocation, and cost reduction initiatives while supporting strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and human resources teams to support business goals and organizational change initiatives.
• Support quality management systems, customer requirements, audits, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading leaders, supervisors, or equivalent management roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience utilizing operational KPIs and data-driven decision making to drive business results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience within hydraulic, industrial, automotive, or highly automated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading organizational change and cultural transformation initiatives.
